    In This Meeting, Prof. Krakowski presented her recently published book "Coming of Age in Medieval Egypt: Female adolescence, Jewish Law and Ordinary Culture" and current work with the Geniza sources. She discussed the importance of Goitein's project on the Genizah studies, and how we can learn from it. She also presented different aspects that can be subject of future studies using the various Genizah documents.

    Dr. Neta Bodner took the ERC team members and participants of the course "Urban Centers and Urban Life in Medieval Europe" on a tour to the old city. Following the course's theme of medieval urban spaces and cities, we visited the Holy Sepulchre and the bell-tower of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
