Adi Namia-Cohen is an MA student in the Department of Jewish History and Contemporary Jewry at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her MA dissertation is entitled "Jewish Food? Food and Identity of the Jews in Medieval Ashkenaz". Her research investigates food as a central part of daily life, Jewish holidays throughout the year, and ceremonies at life cycle events. She holds a BA in History and Jewish History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Alongside her research and studies, she works as an archivist in the Central Zionist Archive.
