Ido Noy is an art historian and curator who specializes in Jewish art, with a particular interest in ritual and ceremonial objects. In his current research, he studies the way medieval Jewish history is exhibited in contemporary Germany.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Neta Bodner is an art historian whose research focuses on medieval religious architecture, examined in conjunction with ceremonies, religious experience, and symbolism. Her PhD examined representations of Jerusalem in Italian Christian religious architecture.

Miri Fenton's (PhD 2022) work compares and contrasts the everyday lives of Jews in the Crown of Aragon and Kehillot SHU"M (communities of Speyer, Worms, and Mainz), from 1100 to 1347.

Ms. Ariella Lehmann

Ariella Lehmann researches the preparations for Shabbat among medieval Ashkenazi Jews. In addition to her studies Ariella teaches Bible and history to a 7th grade class in the Leyada school. Ariella is currently a PhD candidate at the Contending with Crises research group.
