Amit is a graduate student studying the History of Jews and Christians in Medieval Ashkenaz in the History Department and in the Honors Program of the Institute of History at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Under the supervision of Prof. Elisheva Baumgarten, she studies Jewish magical texts in Medieval Ashkenaz. She aims to investigate everyday life and family life through magical texts, amulets and magical praxis. She holds a B.A. in History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. This year, Amit has received the Mandel Scholarship for M.A. students in Humanities.
