Etelle is a graduate student studying the History of Jews and Christians in Medieval Ashkenaz in the History Department at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has just completed her license as a qualified teacher in the Kerem Institute.
Under the supervision of Prof. Elisheva Baumgarten, she aims to study the status of Jewish and Christian widows within their communities, in Ashkenaz between the 12th-14th centuries. She holds a B.A. in History and Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and has recently recieved the Yaakov Talmon Prize for M.A. students.
